A unique centennial journey...

Yesterday was the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, founded in Shanghai in 1921.

A remarkable journey with victories and battles, resilience and conviction, long term vision and daily pragmatism, highs and lows; most of all embedded as a young, dynamic nation in the cradle of ancient Chinese civilization.

A journey which lead China as the first country since the colonial era and industrial revolution, with a significantly different form of government, economics, culture, and past to the accomplishment of a moderately prosperous society with among others an immense eradication of poverty, a significantly growing middle class and confidence for the future.

To my humble perspective; while people might criticize or disagree with courses taken during this centennial journey; the journey characteristics of the 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆, of the 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, of the 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 without fear for a better future have lead to remarkable achievements for the people in China.

And these characteristics are the ingredients for China's next 100 years, and basically necessary ingredients for any society at any time in history or presence wishing to strive for growth and development for a better future in collaboration.
