25.7 km inter-island expressway bridge

Zhoudai Bridge, linking Zhoushan and Daishan islands along the coast in #Zhejiang province, opened for transport. China's longest 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟱.𝟳 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 is part of the Zhoushan Inter-Island Expressways, spanning 74 kilometers and linking eight islands with eight bridges.

122 km desert highway

The 122 km Qingtongxia-Zhongwei expressway section in North-Western China’s #Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region opened for transport. The new road section is the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘄𝗮𝘆 in Ningxia, crossing the Tengger Desert. The section is part of the Wuma Expressway from Wuhai in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to Maqin in #Qinghai Province.

HSR network surpassed a total length of 40,000 km

China’s high speed railway 𝗛𝗦𝗥 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝟰𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗸𝗺 when the 176 km section from Anqing in #Anhui province to Jiujiang in #Jiangxi province opened for travel. The new HSR line will shorten travel time between Anhui’s capital #Hefei and Jiangxi’s capital #Nanchang from 4 hours to 2 hours and is part of the Hongkong-Beijing HSR travel routes. 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, 𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝟰 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗛𝗦𝗥 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 (including the Kunming-Vientiane track). The longer term ambitions are 𝗮 𝗛𝗦𝗥 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝟱𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗸𝗺 𝗯𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟳𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬𝗸𝗺 𝗯𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟯𝟱 (connecting all 500,000 populated cities in China).
