Blueprint for a green and intelligent vehicle ecosystem by 2035
Vehicle transportation and infrastructure in China turning green and smart with great ambitions and speed.
NEV (new Energy Vehicles) charging piles and stations are popping up like mushrooms with presently over 1.4 million being installed in residence compounds, alongside roads, or in parking areas by September this year and approximately 1,000 new piles added every day. Portable battery sharing stations for smaller electric vehicles or motorcycles are installed at public transportation hubs or residence compounds which also provide bicycle charging points.

Public transportation such as buses, garbage collectors or taxis are turning electric with central charging facilities. Pilot zones are being established in major cities for smart, driverless driving.

Earlier this month, the "New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Plan (2021-2035)" was published by the State Council in China for a fully integrated New Energy Vehicle #NEV) and Intelligent Connected Vehicle #ICV) eco-system in China by 2035.
