𝟭. August 15 – Children visiting the Astronomical Observatory in #Urumqi , #Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous region during the evening to observe the Perseid meteor shower.



𝟮. August 14 – A couple has their marriage registered at a civil affairs bureau in #Shanghai on the day of Qixi Festival, often known as Chinese Valentine's Day.



𝟯. August 15 – Bailuzhou Water Conservancy Scenic Area in Badu town, #Fujian province, integrates hydraulic engineering with tourism, with its dams featuring unique shapes of fish scales, creating wonderful scenes for photography.



𝟰. August 17 – A shepherd catches sheep to trade for yaks with other shepherds in Zoige, #Sichuan province. While shepherds with larger grasslands usually look for sheep, smaller grasslands are more suitable for yaks as the yaks, unlike sheep, do lighter grazing and leave the final few centimeters of grass uneaten.



𝟱. August 15 – People worship at a temple in #Taipei, #Taiwan, as Taiwan has seen a significant reduction of infections in recent weeks after combating a serious outbreak 2-3 months ago.



𝟲. August 17 – A man collecting lotus leaves and seedpods at West Lake in #Hangzhou , #Zhejiang province for people who place orders online. Designated personnel are doing the harvesting work to prevent people from congregating in the area during the recent COVID-19 outbreaks.
