๐ญ. March 3 โ The start of the Tibetan New Year celebrated in #Tibet Autonomous Region, neighboring provinces #Qinghai, #Sichuan and #Gansu and all over China among Tibetan communities. This new Tibetan year marks the year of the Water Tiger.

๐ฎ. February 28 โ A concert to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Shanghai Communique was held on Monday evening in #Shanghai with classic Chinese and American pieces were performed. A number of Chinese and US government officials and experts including Chinese foreign minister Qin Gang and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger delivered speeches earlier on the day. The Shanghai Communique is the first diplomatic document in modern time relation between the two countries, drafted during Nixon and Kissingerโs historic visit to China in 1972.

๐ฏ. March 1 โ Spring tea harvest begins in #Guangxi. With the approach of the solar term Jingzhe, the spring tea harvest is beginning in Sanjiang Dong autonomous county in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. Jingzhe, also known as the Waking of Insects is the third of 24 solar terms on the traditional Chinese calendar, this year starting on March 5. The popular spring tea from Sanjiang Dong county, a major tea producer, always goes to market 20 days earlier than other areas.

๐ฐ. March 3 โ Deputies head to Beijing for the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, by high-speed train in #Hefei, #Anhui Province. The Two Sessions or Chinaโs annual meeting kicked off in Beijing on March 4 with thousands of deputies and government officials from all over China present in #Beijing.

๐ฑ. February 26 โ Horsemen try to grab a goat carcass from each other during a goat-grabbing competition, or buzkashi, in Turpan, #Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.

๐ฒ. February 28 โ Workers setting up grids made of straw in Linze, #Gansu province, to prevent the Badain Jaran Desert from expanding.
