𝟭. July 29 – "Warmth of Homeland" exhibition by oil painter Chen Shuzhong at the National Art Museum of China in #Beijing these summer weeks. Chen Shuzhong (1960), born in the countryside of #Liaoning province paints into the reality and nostalgy of day-to-day peasant life in Northern China. Some call his style a genre of the old Flemish school with touches of magic realism.

𝟮. July 27 – A pharmacist of Jiangning Chinese medical hospital prepares ingredients to produce traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) decoctions in #Nanjing, capital of #Jiangsu Province. So far, the hospital has distributed over 15,000 doses of TCM decoctions to help control the recent spike in COVID-19 infections in Nanjing. #traditionalchinesemedicine

𝟯. July 28 – People put flowers and mourn in front of the memorial wall at the Tangshan Earthquake Memorial Park in Tangshan, #Hebei province. Wednesday marked the 45th anniversary of the Tangshan earthquake. The 7.8-magnitude quake struck the city on July 28, 1976, killing more than 240,000 people and destroying virtually all buildings.

𝟰. July 25 – Heavy winds and rain this week in Shanghai as "In-Fa" Typhoon hit the city.

𝟱. July 26 – An officer drips with perspiration while working at night closing a 100 meter breach of a canal in Xinxiang City, #Henan province. The canal was breached by floods triggered by torrential rainfall last week. The breach was closed after 5 days and 6 nights of work by soldiers, fire brigades and volunteers.

𝟲. July 25 – A summer camp student practices martial arts at Longteng Martial Arts School in Lianyungang, #Jiangsu province. Children summer camps are popular this year in China, especially as international travel is much restricted.
