𝟭. August 1 – Fishing boats depart from a port in Zhoushan, #Zhejiang province to begin their operations in the East China Sea, marking the end of the annual three-month fishing moratorium.

𝟮. August 5 – A premiere of Shakespeare’s Hamlet in Tibetan language was performed by 22 Tibetan college graduates in #Lhasa #Tibet. The production by director Pu Cunxin has brought in some typical Tibetan cultural elements for better understanding and resonating emotion of the Shakespearean culture.

𝟯. July 31 – A gigantic sand sculpture in the Shahu Lake scenic area in Shizuishan, #Ningxia Hui autonomous region visited by tourists.

𝟰. August 4 – A local resident performs traditional horse racing during a celebration marking the 70th anniversary of the founding of Yushu Tibetan autonomous prefecture in #Qinghai province.

𝟱. July 31 – A girl rests in a dormitory at a temporary relocation site in a middle school in Xunxian county of Hebi city, #Henan province. More than 13.91 million people in 150 county-level regions were affected by torrential rains.

𝟲. August 2 – Workers are busy constructing a tunnel for the Hangzhou-Wenzhou high-speed railway in Taizhou, #Zhejiang province. Construction on the railway line, a crucial part of the intercity rail traffic network in the Yangtze River Delta region, is expected to be completed next year.
