๐ญ. March 19 โ China's highest-altitude mega hydropower plant fully operational. With the last 500,000-kW power generation unit officially putting into use, 3,000 meter altitude Lianghekou hydropower plant on the Yalong River in the Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Garze in #Sichuan Province went into operation on March 18. The storage capacity of the reservoir is designed to reach 10.8 billion cubic meters with annual power generation volume expected to surpass 11 billion kWh.

๐ฎ. March 24 โ White-lipped deer (or Thorold's deer, Cervus albirostris) spotted in Sanjiangyuan National Park, #Qinghai Province. One of worldโs largest deer, under China's first-class national protection, live in forests and grasslands on the Tibetan Plateau, primarily in #Tibet Autonomous Region and #Qinghai, #Gansu and #Sichuan provinces.

๐ฏ. March 24 โ Red Cross Society of China Beijing Branch held the 16th Life Memorial Service in commemoration of organ donors in #Beijing on Thursday. Representatives of the Red Cross Society branch, medical schools and donors' family members attend the memorial in person or online.

๐ฐ. March 23 โ Students attend a science lecture conducted by Chinese astronauts from China's space station at the China Science and Technology Museum in Beijing. The livestream lecture was followed by schools all over China.

๐ฑ. March 22 โ A pink world in Guian New Area, #Guizhou province. Worldโs largest cherry garden covers an area of more than 1,600 hectares with nearly 700,000 cherry trees. The flower season is expected to last until early April.

๐ฒ. March 20 - People visit a photo exhibition of endangered animals at the Museum of Natural History in #Beijing. The exhibition is scheduled to run until June 12.
