𝟭. May 15 –Highway completed in Tibet Autonomous Region passing through the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, world's deepest canyon. It took almost seven years to complete, connecting Nyingchi with Medog County, cutting travel time by 8 hours.

𝟮. May 21 - The 10th China Flower Expo opened on Friday at Shanghai's Chongming Island nearly 30 million flowers in 180 outdoor gardens and 64 indoor exhibitions.

𝟯. May 15 - Chinese Zhurong Mars rover landing on Mars.

𝟰. May 21 – Rescuers prepare to depart for the earthquake area in Dali, Yunnan Province. A 5.6-magnitude earthquake at 9:21 p.m and a 6.4-magnitude earthquake at 9:48 p.m. hit Yangbi Yi Autonomous County in southwest China's Yunnan Province.

𝟱. May 20 - A couple shows their marriage certificate at the marriage registration office of in Lianyungang city, Jiangsu province. May 20 is a popular day for marriage as in Chinese language 520 sounds like "I love you" (wo ai ni).

𝟲. May 19 – More than 2,000 seniors performing Tai Chi by the Fuchunjiang River in Tonglu County, #Zhejiang Province to kick off a nation-wide campaign for promoting Tai Chi as a fitness exercise among senior citizens.
