Creative craft weekend in the Olympic spirit !
Our elder son made this cute Bing Dwen Dwen last weekend, the Winter Olympics mascot has been very popular all over China with also many kids crafting their own version of Bing Dwen Dwen. Lots of short craft movies on Douyin (Tiktok).
Even though physical presence at the Beijing Winter Olympics is highly restricted due to Covid measures, Bing Dwen Dwen is certainly bringing the Olympic spirit in Chinese society along with Gold medal winners as Gao Tingyu or Gu Ailing.
And the snowfall yesterday has even brought a great winter atmosphere to the Olympic scenes. Beijing has been blessed by snow this year as yesterday was the third snowfall of the season.
