The 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗵𝗮 𝗠𝗲𝗶𝘅𝗶𝗵𝘂 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, completed in 2019 is the center piece of the new Meixi Lake district in #Changsha#Changsha , #Hunan#Hunan province.
The complex contains three separate cultural institutions: a theater, a contemporary art museum (MICA), and a multi-purpose venue.

The Grand Theater, is the largest building in the complex with a capacity of 1800 seats and is the home of national TV entertainment shows for which Changsha is famous about in China (Hunan TV).
The MICA art museum contains an atrium for large-scale installations and events, and has dedicated spaces for community workshops, a lecture theater, a café, and a museum shop. The multi-purpose venue has a capacity of 500 seats.

The complex is part of the Meixi Lake Master Plan building a new green and sustainable urban environment with the lake as center.
Other remarkable architecture pieces already completed in the district are the Lucky Knot Bridge (2016, NEXT Architects) and the Meixi Urban Helix (2018, KSP Jürgen Engel Architekten).
