New Qingdao International Airport opened last month

Less than 2 months after the new Tianfu International Airport was opened in central Chinaโs ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ป๐ด๐ฑ๐ (Sichuan province) in June, ๐ค๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ผ on the eastern peninsula of Shandong province opened its new Jiaodong International Airport earlier this month.

Both 4F class airports are major contributions to the expansion of national civil aviation infrastructure in China as well as the international integration and accessibility. While the Chengdu airport will have a 60 million passenger capacity by 2025, the new Qingdao airport is being able to handle 35 million passengers annually.

In addition to the widespread high speed train network in China built up in past decade, the government exposed their plan at the beginning of this year (14th Five Year Plan 2021-2025) to ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ๐๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐ฌ ๐บ๐ฎ๐ท๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ reaching a ๐๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ฐ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐น ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ถ๐๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฎ ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฑ๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ด๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ per year in China.
