Shenzhen holds more 5G coverage than the entire European continent...

Shenzhen has reached full 5G coverage this month by having completed the installation of over 46,000 5G base stations. The 13 million populated tech hub, home of many tech startups and heavyweights such as Tencent and Huawei, are expected to witness revolutionary digital innovations in among others business, retail, services, society, infrastructure and finance during coming years in the build-up of a comprehensive 5G application ecosystem.

Industry observers mentioned that the number of 5G base stations in 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗵𝗲𝗻 outnumbers the 5G deployment of the entire European continent at this stage. At of the end of June, China had deployed more than 410,000 5G base stations across the country, and it will roll out 500,000 new ones by the end of 2020.
